Shannan Davis - Voice

Shannan Davis has been teaching voice and piano since 1999 and has a Bachelor of Music Education (Voice) from Gordon College in Wenham, MA and a Master of Music Education from Rhode Island College (Voice), in Providence, RI.  She is a classically trained vocalist who also enjoys performing in musical theater.  Shannan has been a music teacher and choral director for the Cumberland School District where she has led an award winning choral program since 2000.  Some of her favorite musical theater roles performed include Maria (West Side Story), Maria (Sound of Music), Carrie (Carousel), Cinderella (Into the Woods), and Marian (Bridges of Madison County).  She has also performed many operatic roles during her college career.  Shannan's educational philosophy is to develop a joy for music while aiding students with their technique and musicianship.
