Kermin Liu - Piano
Kermin's musical training began with piano lessons starting at age 5 and continued, without interruption, until he began college. He studied extensively under URI professor of music Dr. Donald Rankin. Kermin played piano for his high school chorus and completed many music workshops, classes, and camps at URI.
He received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Mathematics from URI and a law degree from RWU School of Law. In addition to teaching music lessons, his other interests include math tutoring, wedding dance choreography, and competitive weightlifting.
Besides sight-reading high-level piano music from a wide array of classical and modern composers, Kermin also teaches guitar, bass, drum kit, and ukulele. He looks forward to helping his students read, write, and enjoy music!
